Usher – Caught Up Review

The fifth and last single from the album ‘Confessions’ was among the most popular songs from the R&B recording artist. ‘Caught Up’ by Usher review articles mostly reflect the positive reviews aired by contemporary music critics.

To some people, the track was simply meaty as well as hip-grinding. Usher’s voice sounds like rhythm instruments. Some critics consider it as among the best tracks in the CD along with ‘Burn.’ The New York Times describe it as the thunderous song from the same album.

However, the track was not able to match the chart-topping performances of other releases from the same album. It was in fact the only single released from that CD that did not rule the Billboard Hot 100. But it remained as among the most popular songs of the artist.

The music video for the song was equally interesting. It was directed by the same man who helmed the 2004 video ‘Yeah!’ It was among the most requested tracks in various music video channels around the world. It depicted Usher as a practical hero who saves a woman from her antagonist. It went on to stay at MTV’s Total Request Live (now defunct).
