Thomas Rhett – Something To Do With My Hands Review

“Something to Do with My Hands” is taken from American country singer Thomas Rhett’s debut album. It was released on 21 February, 2012 by Valory Music Group as the first single from his album. It was produced by Jay Joyce, and co-written with Lee Thomas Miller and Chris Stapleton. The official music video was released in April 2012 and directed by Peter Zavadil.

Billy Dukes commented about “Something to Do with My Hand” that “smart , although not so cheeky that the joke wheels after a tune in or three”. Kyle Ward noted that “it sounds great sonically and the catchy beat and melody mostly make up for a fairly clunky hook that only sort of works”. Kevin John Coyne wrote that “ends up just sounding dumb and ridiculous”.

“Something to Do with My Hands” peaked at number 90 on the Canadian Hot 100 Chart, at number 93 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart at number 15 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart.
