Spandau Ballet – Gold 2012 Review




“Gold” is performed by English band Spandau Ballet and taken from their third studio album “True”. It was released in 1983 by Chrysalis Records. It was produced by Jolly & Swain, and written by Gary Kemp. It was again recorded in 2009 in unplugged style for their album “Once More”. It has been used in many movies, video games and television shows including Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Skins, Black Books, Harry Brown, The Paul O’Grady Show and Alan Carr: Chatty Man. When it was played on celebrations for the 2012 Summer Olympics, it was called as Gold 2012.
