Skrillex – Bangarang Featuring Sirah Review

If you have watched the 1991 movie ‘Hook,’ you can relate to the title of this song. ‘Bangarang’ is not just the title of a single from electronic music producer Skrillex. It is also the battle cry of the Lost Boys of Neverland in the Peter Pan inspired film. The track is cut from an EP with the same title. Skrillex is not alone in the song. He has hired Sirah, who provided the rap vocals.

The song has influences of electronic rock while retaining its drum and bass identity. Sirah’s rap vocals are chopped up throughout the track to boost its artistic value. The result is a song that is most noted for its supposed fun-nature sound. It is becoming popular as a background and scoring for TV commercials. It was also used in the trailer of the 2012 comedy flick ‘The Watch.’

Positive reviews were gathered by the track. Most music critics agree that it is the highlight of the EP. It can be considered as a massively enjoyable track with blips and bursts sounding as if Moby is having a heart attack. It is indeed the signature song for Skrillex.
