Rihanna – Man Down Review

The song “Man Down” is taken from Rihanna’s fifth studio album “Loud”. It was released on 3 May, 2011 through Def Jam Recordings. It was produced by Shama Joseph, and was written by Shontelle Layne, Timoty Thomas, Shama Joseph and Theron Thomas. The music video was released on 31 May, 2011, and was directed by Anthony Mandler. The video starts while she shoots a guy getting his way by means of a public train station . After risking the offense , the camera targets the hit guy and later on she flees the site . To make a timeline of things top around the crime , the video moves return to period to the last day , while the artist comes driving her motorcycle as well as encountering with others.

The song gained mixed reviews from the critics. Emily Mackay stated that “analysis with the album sense a lot more natural , the tone good paced due to the Caribbean-tinged anthem for bound youngsters of this song”.
