Ray J feat Bobby Brackins – I Hit it First Review
I Hit It First’ by Ray J review should always point out that the song is not about the singer’s former girlfriend Kim Kardashian. Unfortunately, no one seems to believe him. That is because the track talks about a woman who moves on to love ballplayers and rappers.
A line in the lyrics even says she ‘chose to go west.’ Incidentally, those descriptions may point out clearly to Kardashian. She just happens to date athletes and rappers. She is even pregnant today with boyfriend Kanye West’s baby.
Unfortunately, the song commands controversy about the link to Kardashian more than anything else. The song could be a good listening track. The rhythm and tunes are alright and the chorus could be a little catchy. The vocal performance is also good.
But it seems that nothing can take it apart from the issue between Ray J and his ex-gf.
Whenever the song is being discussed, it has to be about Kardashian. Most of Ray J’s interviews about the song touch on his explanation and denial about accusations that it is indeed an allusion towards Kardashian. Well, it could be hard to make it shine that way.
