Passione is the fourteenth studio album of Italian singer Andrea Bocelli.  The album was released in January 2013. Bocelli can sing in various languages and has done the same in this album as well.  This album has also Bocelli’s duets with Jennifer
Lopez, Nelly Furtado and Edith Piff.  The album was produced by much acclaimed Grammy award winner David Foster who produced his Latin album as well.

The album has Passionate love songs in the irresistible voice of Bocelli himself and his co artists in duets. The album has songs in six languages that are in English, French, Latin, Spanish, Portuguese and Neapolitan languages.  The music in the album is extra ordinary and was played by a sixty-three piece orchestra of renowned musicians.  The album also includes songs of Elvis Presley and Edith Piaf.

The album has 14 songs including “Perfidia”, Roma Nun Fa La”, “Champagne”, “Anema e core”, “Quizas, Quizas, Quizas”, “Era gia tutto previsto”, “Tristeza”, “La Vie en rose”, “Corcovado”, “Love in ortfolio”, “Sara Settembre”, “Malafemmena”, “Groa De Ipanema”, and “Love me tender” by Elvis Presley.  The album was released in three editions.  The album made the highest mark by gaining number one position on the US top Latin albums and US Latin pop albums.  While ranked on the second place in the US classical albums.

The hard work and sweetest voice of Bocelli make it impossible for the listener to tune onto some other channel even if the language is not understood by him or her.  The songs and the singing along with the music are just perfect to evoke the strong emotions and to feel the emotions of the singer as well.

The flaw less music of the top quality is another indicator of the greatness of the album. The Passione is a very good album with the true richness of Classic Opera stance and make it a loveable piece for classic lovers.

The duets with the fellow artist have brought an entirely different look to the album and have helped it gain more momentum as well.  The beautiful love songs are the must for the listeners. The Latino and Spanish songs are the perfect showcase of the opera art and quality.

Bocelli has a very strong voice and a very classic one as well but in this album it has hampered for him to provide the listener with the serenity which was to be expected from the singer. His own voice has become a hurdle in providing the balancing of vocals with the music, and melody both.

His voice is the true favorite of the older ones and the opera lovers.  This new flavor might be able to catch the attention of the young listeners with the classical heart as well. Although most of the fans might not be very appreciative of his contradiction of his true signature style of singing and switching to a new horizon, but still many believe that he is one of the very best in the industry.

The Spanish version of this album is expected to be released later this year and it is expected that it will be a lot different from this one.
