OneRepublic – Love Runs Out Review
Before we proceed to this ‘Love Runs Out’ by One Republic review, it would surely be worthwhile to first know about the single’s interesting story. Not known to many, the song was composed to be the carrier single of the recent album of the group, ‘Native.’ But it did not make it to the cut because vocalist Ryan Tedder thought it still needed a catchier chorus. After a year, the band decided to re-release the same album. This time, the song is included, making it the carrier track.
This song carries a lot of promise into it. Many observers are hoping that it would be the track that would put back One Republic songs into the limelight. It offers something new to the discerning public. For one, it deviates from the usual eclectic mood of the chart toppers of today.
The lyrics were well crafted, with the obvious intention to make the words not just catchy but full of impact. The first few lines will already hook you up with brilliant rhyming drowned in harmonious melody. Tedder’s vocal performance gets more aggressive here.
