Miranda Lambert – Over You Review

“Over You” is taken from American country singer Miranda Lambert’s fourth studio album “Four the Record”. It was released on 9 January, 2012 by RCA Nashville Records as the second single from her album. It was produced by Glenn Worf and Frank Liddell, and written by Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert. The official music video was released on 30 January, 2012 and directed by Trey Fanjoy. It was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Ben Foster of “Country Universe” described about “Over You” that “the song has awkward rhyme schemes that set to a uninspired and clunky melody”. Kely Ward of “RoughtStock” commented that “the song contains emotions and pain, and is serious. She does a good Job by setting the tone from the opening line”.

“Over You” peaked at number 1 on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, at number 35 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and at number 52 on the US Canadian Hot 100 chart.
