“Makes Me Wonder” is recorded by American band Maroon 5 and taken from their second studio album “it Won’t Be Soon Before Long”. It was released on March 27, 2007 by A&M/Octone Records as the album’s first single. It was co-produced by Maroon 5 and Mark Endert, and written by Mickey Madden, Jesse Carmichael and Adam Levine. The music video was released on 29 March, 2007 and directed by John Hillcoat. Maroon 5 won Grammy Awards in the category of “Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal” for the song.
Stephen Thomas commented about “Makes Me Wonder” that “the song is not about production but itself makes the album work”. Ann Powers from the “Los Angeles Times” said “amazing danceable ballad”. Rosie Swash of “The Guardian” criticized and wrote “the song makes me offensive and angry”.
