Little Mix – DNA Review

There is something about the group Little Mix for it to become the first ever singing group to bag the championship of The X Factor. If the popular groups like One Direction and JLS made it big, what more can be expected from Little Mix, which was actually a big winner in the competition and not just a runner-up?

As runners-up outperform some champions, it is interesting how winners take steps to protect their own credibility and reputation.

Little Mix is out to prove itself through the release of its debut CD ‘DNA.’ One of the impressive tracks in the album is a song also called ‘DNA.’ Of the three singles that have been released from this compilation, this song takes the lead by being a slinky R&B song. It is opposed to the hater-baiting formula used in the other single ‘Wings.’

Most music critics are raving about the track’s placid and feline production with breezy beats and tight harmonies. It goes through the well-trodden path to become a temperate demi-ballad. It is a song that clearly indicates and showcases what Little Mix if capable of. Overall, it is simply a good and worthwhile listening piece.
