“Born to Die” is taken from American singer Lana Del Rey’s second studio album “Born to Die”. It was released on 30 December, 2011 by Interscope Records, Polydor Records and Stranger Records as the second single from her album. It was produced by Emile Haynie and Justin Parker, and was written by Elizabeth Grant and Justin Parker. She performed the song live at the Bowery Ballroom and at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, California.
The official music video was released in December, 2011 and was directed by Yoann Lemoine. Billboard’s Jason Lipshutz commented about the video that “some video scenes are like the Rihanna’s We Found Love scenes”. Ann Lee of Metro stated that “amazing romantic flick by Lana Del Rey”.
