Lady Antebellum – Dancin’ Away With My Heart Review
“Dancin’ Away with My Heart” is performed by American country music band Lade Antebellum and taken from their third studio album “Own the Night”. It was released on 12 December, 2011 by Capitol Nashville as the third single from their album. It was produced by Pul Worley, and written by Josh Kear, Dave Haywood, Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott. The official music video was released in February 2012 and was directed by Adam Boatman. It was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of American (RIAA) after sales of 500,000 copies.
Critical reception was generally negative from music critics. Kevin John Coyne of “Country Universe” said that “I think the song doesn’t exist because it is band enough” and gave the song a D. Billy Dukes of “Taste of Country” said that “the song was something in the middle of pop and country music, but doesn’t provide enough relief”.
“Dancin’ Away with My Heart” peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart, at number 46 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and at number 65 on the Canadian Hot 100 Chart.
