Jessie Ware – If You’re Never Gonna Move Review
Another Jessie is hailing from the vibrant British music scene. After Jessie J, now comes Jessie Ware. She is also a singer-songwriter who has just released her debut album ‘Devotion.’ The song ‘If You’re Gonna Move’ is a cut from that CD.
The song was originally titled ‘110%.’ It was launched as a digital download in the UK in April 2012 in that title. However, when it was released in the US, a dispute arose with Big Pun. As it turned out, the song included samples from the band’s ‘The Dream Shatterer.’ Its original title referred to another Big Pun song ‘100%.’
But Ware’s music label failed to obtain a clearance to use the samples. Thus, some verses were also changed. Of course, the title had to be modified as well. As if it is another consolation, the track obtained positive reviews from music critics. Many critics assert that it is a feel-good track.
The song was accompanied by a music video, which was equally interesting. Ware is on the way to penetrate the US music scene. She is also set to be known in many other music markets around the world.
