Jay-Z – f*ckwithmeyouknowigotit featuring Rick Ross Review
No one would contest how most ‘F*ck With Me You Know I Got It’ by Jay-Z review articles begin. The song is without a doubt good. The intro pays tribute to the late P*mp C, as it talks about the uncontested necessity to wear bling blings.
The presence of Rick Ross helps make the beat take time to breathe, or should it be the other way around?
In his new album ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail,’ this song may mark the second time that Jay-Z let his guest artists steal the show, the first being the track with Justin Timberlake.
Rick Ross may not have the intention to command so much attention for himself, but we can’t help it if we come to the initial impression that this song is his single and Jay-Z is only his guest. But it is the other way around.
The lyrics used are not as impressive. Both artists sound like they were reduced to talking non-sense. There is a refreshing sense of simplicity, though, maybe to strike a balance.
But what Jay-Z’s multitude of fans may not like is the fact that he sounded like a good guest right on his own album track.
