Jason Derulo – The Other Side Review
Almost every ‘The Other Side’ by Jason Derulo review raves about how the R&B-pop recording artist feasts on an already familiar musical territory. Thus, the song has the signature marks of Derulo all over it. It is hard to deny upon hearing the track that it comes from him.
The song comes as the carrier single from Derulo’s forthcoming third album. It is actually a high-octane cut, which is no different from most of his past singles. The track describes his interesting journey to the other side. He has tried to embrace urban-EDM-pop. The unique audio experience is accompanied by glee and groans.
Some music critics think that while the song is catchy and interesting, they have yet to hear a track from Derulo that could really move their spirits. Most of us may continue to applaud his extraordinary guts to bring us consistently catchy pop products. But it is also about time he steps up a notch from his ordinary songs.
He has a bigger challenge. That is to prove to everyone that he should be taken seriously even if he intends to remain on the pop music territory.
