Fantasia – Without Me ft. Missy Elliott & Kelly Rowland Review

The number ‘3’ may have an interesting influence on recording artist Fantasia. First, she was the winner of ‘American Idol’ Season 3. It was in 2010 when she last had an R&B song (‘Bittersweet’) that penetrated the Top 10 chart, three years after release of her first Top 10 hit song in 2007, ‘When I See U.’ Now, three years after her last hit song, she is back with a single that has the potential to make it big and climb the charts.

Every ‘Without Me’ by Fantasia review article may point out that it has the potential to be a monster hit. It actually sounds like a song from a power trio. That is not surprising because she was joined by Kelly Rowland and Missy Elliot in this track. The result is a strong sound echoing female power.

Don’t be surprised to hear slight audible influences from Ariana Grande’s current hit ‘The Way.’ Fantasia’s latest single was produced by the same producer, Harmony Samuels. Overall, the song is a strong second single taken off from Fantasia’s latest album ‘Side Effects of You.’ It is a good cut from that interesting and worthwhile CD.
