Coldplay – Atlas Review
Cold Play has unveiled their new sound track Atlas a couple of days before. It has been set to appear in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. It is the first new song from Cold Play since 2011. It is their first original song written for a sound track. They deliberately have written it for a movie this time.
The song grips a good chord progression. The instruments used are ultimate. The guitar magic plays a role of icing on a cake. The sounds of the guitar give an amazing atmosphere while one deeply embeds into it. The hook of “Carry Your World” is greatly expressive. The mood of the song is dark and dreamy in fact. The line “Im About To Explode” is teasing. The song is not at all lyrically complex. The middle chorus gives you goose bumps. It leaves you in a tranquil state, which is something good to say about it. The guitar beats ending the song are so sensual that one is force to listen to it repeatedly. The drumbeat used in it is soft and lighter. Cold Play has chosen to give its best through the song and it justifies it as well.
By examining the song, it is obvious that Atlas is a great come back from the Cold Play. The song fully focuses on the lyrics. There is no hurdle to say that it is a gem which has come out of the band.
