“Look at Me Now” is performed by American singer-songwriter Chris Brown and taken from his fourth studio album “F.A.M.E”. It was released on 1 February, 2011 by Jive Records as the second single from the album. It was produced by Free School, Diplo and Afrojack, and co-written by Chris Brown, Nick van de Wall, Trevor Smith, Lil Wayne, Ryan Buendia, Jean Baptiste and Wesley Pentz. The song features additional vocals from rappers Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne. The music video was released on 9 March, 2011 and directed by Colin Tilley.
Hannah Ash from “The Harger Herald” said that “one of my favorite track from the album because it has bass mixed with electronic background mixes and shows amazing raps from the artists”. Joanne Dorken said “dance-floor uptempo song with unforgettable beats”. The song won BET Awards 2011 in the category of “Viewer’s Choice” and “Best Collaboration”. It was also nominated at the Soul Train Music Awards 2011 in the category of “Best Hip-Hop Songs of the Year” and at the 54th Grammy Awards in the category of “Best Rap Song” and “Best Rap Performance”.
“Look at Me Now” peaked at number 1 on the Billboard Rap Songs, at number 29 on the Billboard Pop Songs, at number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100, at number 44 on the UK Singles Chart, at number 37 on the RIANZ Singles Chart and at number 51 on the Canadian Hot 100.
