Carrie Underwood – Smoke Break Review
Carried Underwood has recently released his new single, “Smoke Break”. It is tribute to the hard-working folks all over the world who, sometimes, use a respite from the craziness of modern life. It is an anthem to nagging away from their duties and take a minute to breathe. An ode to the working community who can have a break, even if it doesn’t include tobacco.
Smoke Break is the leading song of Underwood’s 5th Studio album, Storyteller. It will be her latest album of entirely new songs since 2012. Last year Carrie released a major hits album with two brand new songs, “Little Toy Guns” and “Something in the Water.” Both were extremely good, mainly the later one that won a Grammy award for Best Solo Performance in the Country.
The song rapidly became a critical as well as a commercial hit. It vaulted to No. 5 on the US Hot Country Songs in its 2nd week and set an unparalleled record for the major first-week adds in the history of country radio. Underwood has kept the sound very much rooted in country rock, and this is just the right thing in her wheelhouse.
The music video of “Smoke Break” got direction by Randee Saint Nicholas, and released on Entertament Tonight on 24th August, 2015.
