Calvin Harris – I Need Your Love featuring Ellie Goulding Review

Don’t be surprised to hear lackluster ‘I Need Your Love’ by Calvin Harris review. The song is actually catchy and interesting, but it is still not good enough for many music critics, who are very hard to please. To begin with, the song features the usual builds, squiggles, drops, and even thumps that are already sounding familiar to every fan of the artist.

The redeeming factor of the track would have to be the appearance of Ellie Goulding. She provides more interest through her lovely and gushy vocal prowess. With Goulding’s presence, the song simply sounds irresistible. It is like an item touched by Midas.

But does Goulding’s presence really help the song? To some, it does. But for others, Harris should have hired another artist who could bring about a real miracle to make this effort truly outstanding.

Some critics suggest more irrelevant artists to make Harris stand out in a similar track. How about the group Blue next time? Harris has to realize that to shine in his own song, he has to collaborate with an artist who would not upstage or eclipse his own vocal ability.
