One Direction – Kiss You Review

‘Vanilla pop’ music is what One Direction is best known for. The British group is at its right elements when it performs songs that are simple pop numbers complete with catchy beats and mushy lyrics. That was clearly exhibited in the song ‘Kiss You,’ the second single off the boy-band’s sophomore CD ‘Take Me Home.’ Again, the group did not try to be anything but itself.

Of all the tracks in the album, this one is the most special because, as members claim, it holds a very space in their hearts. That sets the entire album’s lyrical tone. Of course, the song is another teen pop song with influences of dance pop and power pop genres.

Within a little more than 3 minutes, listeners may enjoy not just One Direction’s vocal delights but also the harmonious mix of piano lines and guitar strings.

It is the type of track that can easily be retained in one’s memory. Do you often experience last song syndrome? Well, after listening to this song, you know what you will be singing next for the coming few minutes or even hours. Now many pop music lovers have another guilty pleasure.
