Nicki Minaj – Va Va Voom Review

Can’t you get enough of Nicki Minaj? She’s more visible these days because of her stint as one of the judges of the hit TV show ‘American Idol.’

But that won’t stop her from releasing hit singles that make her all the more popular. She’s at it again after sending ‘Va Va Voom’ off to airwaves. The track is part of her second CD ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.’

It was supposed to be the carrier single of the album’s standard edition but it was replaced at the last minute by ‘Starships,’ which became a massive hit.

The song is truly catchy but it may be difficult, if not impossible, to really understand its lyrics. The verses seem like those were written while she was high, drunk, or tired. It could follow the footsteps of ‘Superbass.’ Do you ever wonder what Minaj is saying in its lyrics?

It is about s**ual attraction and fantasies towards the opposite s*x, a sensitive theme that was surprisingly set aside as it was categorized as radio friendly. Needless to say, the track has been a commercial success. It has also been receiving encouraging raves from various music critics from around the globe.
